BAWT Recruiting a Teacher for Marketing Committee

BAWT, a San Francisco based non-profit organization, is recruiting an educator, youth worker or public school teacher to join our marketing committee and help us achieve our unique mission of creating opportunities for urban youth to experience wilderness first hand.

BAWT's primary strategy for achieving its mission is to provide Bay Area youth agency staff with wilderness leadership training and outdoor equipment so that they, along with the youth they serve, may explore the power and beauty of California's wilderness.

The Marketing Committee is responsible for promoting BAWT and its flagship program – Wilderness Leader Training.

We are a team of volunteer “professional” marketers who develop and support BAWT promotional activities including events, internet posting, and direct mail to get out our message and fill our courses.

In just over six years, BAWT has trained 193 adults and served over 3,000 youth. We can do better with your help! Leverage your experience, share your perspective and help us reach youth agency staff.

The Marketing Committee typically meets once a month in/around San Francisco. Members may also take on specific projects based on their interests and availability.
