As a part of the BAWT community, whether you’re Wilderness Leadership Training alumni or just someone who wan’t to help with the cause, you will find a great network of peers – friends. Youth workers and teachers full of ideas and support for your group. Like minded people to hang out with. Utilize our long standing list-serve to get volunteers for your trips, or come meet us in person at one of the many Volunteer Nights in Oakland, Milpitas or San Francisco!
Online community:
- Yahoo Listserve- This listserve has been around since the year 2000, and allows youth workers and teachers to post for volunteers, job-postings, and specific questions regarding wilderness area’s they’ve never been. 600ish people (2-3) emails a week.
- TrailMix Newsletter- This comes in both electronic and paper form. Sign up for the electronic version and keep in the know.
