Custom Trainings
Many community organizations and school districts have contracted BAWT to lead one of our Frontcountry Leadership Training and Wilderness Leadership Training courses just for their staff. These unique and highly affordable trainings provide valuable teambuilding opportunities while building your organizations capacity to lead trips for youth. Leave No Trace Workshops
This Awareness Workshop teaches about the critical conservation movement “Leave no Trace”, which promotes sustainable outdoor recreational practices. The program incorporates elements of experiential and environmental education.
Games Workshop
This workshop is all about playing games. Come ready to share some of your own and learn some new ones. This workshop is led by BAWT’s volunteer faculty and all participants are encouraged to share in the learning and instruction.
Teambuilding for Youth Development
Looking for new ways to bring your group together to meet a challenge? Discover new ways to activate group trust, promote teamwork and cooperation – it’s a fun filled day packed with teambuilding ideas for your school or organization! Instructed by Terry Williams, Ph.D.
Map and Compass
Attend this hands-on weekend workshop to learn how to safely navigate on or off the trail. Let us show you how to read guidebooks, orient topographic maps and take and follow compass bearings in the field. Triangulation, back-bearings, map only navigation and some GPS concepts are all covered.
