Leave No Trace Program History
A history of the Center for Outdoor Ethics organization, slideshows, games and information on Leave No Trace skills and practices that can be used in the field with youth or adults. There will also be an emphasis on PEAK (Promoting Environmental Awareness in Kids), a program designed to educate children about the outdoors and responsible use of our shared public lands. The PEAK program is based on the seven principles of Leave No Trace and aims to teach minimum impact outdoor skills and ethics to children ages 6 to 12. The program incorporates elements of experiential and environmental education.
