Course:

Wilderness First Responder prepares you for wilderness emergency situations that involve: prolonged patient care, severe environments, and improvised equipment. Topics covered in this 10 day course include: leadership and prevention strategies, CPR for the Professional Rescuer (can be taken as a one day course), advanced patient assessment, anaphylaxis treatment, field wound management, spinal injury evaluation, and field reduction of dislocations. This intensive is the ideal training for youth trip leaders who want to do extended trips in more remote areas.

Cost:

$625 for WLT participants, $700 for general public.
Price includes food and lodging.

Cancellation Policy:

You must notify Bay Area Wilderness Training of a cancellation at least two weeks prior to the start date of the workshop. You will be refunded 75% of your total registration fees if notification is given before that time. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after the time mentioned. A full refund will be given in the event that we cancel a course.
