Discovery sessions are informational and inspiational orientations to Bawt. They are a great way to find out more about what we do, get a tour of our gear library, and find out how to get involved.
Join us at our Oakland office, bring your friends, and help us grow the BAWT community. Session starts with a short informational orientation to our work, ways to get involved, and a tour of the gear library. The evening continues with an opportunity to volunteer and help out!
There are ALWAYS volunteer opportunities available. Our volunteers do everything from general office duties, IT, design, leading training courses to maintaining gear. Volunteers staff our events and tables, stuff our envelopes, and help us develop our marketing, fundraising and training programs. Contact us, we’ll be sure to find a use for your skills!
We greatly appreciate all the support our volunteers give us. Volunteering with BAWT can be one-time or ongoing and completely depends on your schedule. There are opportunities to volunteer at Oakland and South Bay / Milpitas.
