This event is suitable for anyone who has basic hiking & camping experience and would like to gain temporary access to our gear library to run mission-aligned youth outdoors trips. GLO is geared toward trip leaders who need to access gear for an upcoming youth trip but will not be able to take a BAWT Leadership Course beforehand. It is also suitable for those who have taken the Camping At The Presidio (CAP) training and would like continued access to the Gear Library.
GLO is a 2-hour workshop for those with basic hiking & camping experience who would like to gain temporary access to BAWT's gear library to run youth outdoor trips. GLO is held at BAWT's Oakland gear library.
*Participants who complete GLO will receive 1 year of access to BAWT’s Gear Library. GLO participants are encouraged to complete a 2023 leadership training within the year to become eligible for ongoing access to the Gear Library.

WFA is a highly experiential 2-day class for everyone who wants to learn how to handle medical situations in the backcountry. You’ll gain the confidence and the skills to handle a first aid emergency.
Our FLT is an entry-level “car camping” course that covers all the basic skills and resources needed to take youth safely and successfully on overnight trips.
