BAWT is taking serious precautions against the spread of COVID-19. Please see below for updates regarding BAWT events and how we are responding to the outbreak.

BAWT Engagement Events –  We are postponing our April 4th Spring Used Gear Garage Sale in Milpitas. While we’re still finalizing dates, take note that we will hold it in October along with our Oakland Used Gear Garage Sale. That means you have two used gear sales to look forward to! We’re also canceling our outreach, tabling, and volunteer events through the remainder of the month. We’ll provide updates for April events in the coming weeks.

BAWT Courses – As we review the COVID-19 situation we will make the decision to cancel and reschedule courses when the time is right. At this time our Wilderness First Aid course scheduled for March 21st and 22nd is canceled and we will reschedule this weekend’s Eastbay FLT to a later date. Once we have more information on our April courses we will send out an additional update.

BAWT Gear and Office – While safe and clean gear is always of the utmost importance we want you to know that we are taking extra precautionary measures to ensure that gear is properly disinfected. Additionally, at this time our three Gear Libraries and Oakland Office remain open but should that change we’ll notify you as soon as we can.
