Oakland Goes Outdoors (OGO) is a collaboration between the San Francisco Foundation (SFF), Bay Area Wilderness Training (BAWT), OUSD Middle School Network, OUSD Expanded Learning After-School Programs, and the Oakland Public Education Fund. This project is supported with the generosity of the Youth Access to Nature Fund at the San Francisco Foundation. The goal of Oakland Goes Outdoors is to increase opportunities for middle school students in Oakland to regularly experience the outdoors. The grant program provides funding for trips, outdoor leadership training, trip planning support, and free outdoor equipment loans. If you are at a school site currently supported by OGO, review your materials here. (You will need your OUSD email to access content).
